Credit to OP for the pic.

She mentioned last week that she’s started reading the bible more nowadays…

I don't think Jesus would be down for tucking sweaters.

I just hope she doesn't go the vtuber route. That means no more nice cleavage or panty shots anymore.
She also said she’s trying to go down the Vtuber route. She wants to make a career for herself in whatever fashion and Vtubing seems to be what she’s hoping works since the potential YT Career is in the toilet. But she did mention that even if she gets signed to Vshojo then she still probably wouldn't be allowed to have a YouTube channel under her Vtuber persona. She said YouTube basically stopped her from having a career there if her and Henry broke up.

Also the few on-stream shots we get are still pretty terrible ngl. Armpits and elbow shots. Any content that’s worth anything 99% of the time comes out of the Patreon every 6 months or so when Henry needs to ho out Jeannie. That being said, she said she’s going to be doing more and more cosplays now and updated her cosplay wheel with people like Raven from Teen Titans on there.

Wasnt it a Vshojo member that recently posted some 90 page twitlonger about how she cheated on her BF who was on deployment with a bunch of guys but the whole post was about how much she'd suffered?

Regardless im out of shes going the VTuber garbage, her streams are tame af anyway but we do get some gems when she does workout stuff, besides i'd just and go watch hentai if i wanted to look at some animated chic.

Also what YT career?, she just sat there and watched a few videos, it was Henry who set all that up all she had to do was get dressed and turn up.

She ever reveal whatever else (that was bad) that was happening bts - someone earlier mentioned it ... do wonder why she's with her parents, Henry is somewhere else? Kia bc free time, streaming nowadays

r their recent patreon vids, still from the house in Seattle?

To explain why she's at her parents place, the apartment her and Henry have at the moment has shit internet that's decent enough to upload vids but too shit for streaming so she's using her parents place to stream then goes back to the apartment to record for the patreon. Henry has been chilling at the apartment setting up the lineup of vids and doing whatever else he does whole trying to get ein (the dog) accustomed and comfortable In their apartment area, the dog don't like change all that much. Jeannie mostly just moved a small handful of things into that room at her parents place because it's gonna take a good minute to find a new house for them to live in so she might as well make the temporary streaming spot look nice while she's there. As for the vtubing thing, she said she still wants to do regular streaming and do the vtubing for late night chill streams, collabing with other vtubers and just days where she's a bit sick or no makeup days but as for now she has no clear plans for vtubing just yet.

Alright, deleted that post then because it's no point keeping it as I was going off the wrong info. Thought someone said they were staying at her parents house, which is why I thought it odd he was never around.

It's not that easy. After Patreon fees, taxes and other obligations (e.g. employees etc.) it's still a lot of money but definitely not "I'm going to retire with 30" money. Especially with their standard of living.
At minimum before anything is $150,000/month.
Patreon fee will be maybe 5% - $7,500/month [they joined before 2019 so they have the preferred rate]
Platform fee 5% - $7,500/month [might be the same as above but including it]
Processing fee 4% - $6,000/month [this is the highest % possible per transaction but in reality it would be lower]
Processing fixed fee $0.50 - $15,750/month [this is over estimation]
Currency conversion 2.5% - $3,750/month
Taxes 0% - They are in US, so the VAT etc will not apply to them
Payout fee 3% - $4,500/month

So in total they still would make $105,000/month on Patreon. That is worst case scenario. Running the numbers on the average scenario and you hit $120,000/month they make. That still assumes everyone is on the cheaper tier. Realistically they are likely pulling in close to $125,000/month after fees.

Before taxes and fees, I think they actually make closer to $161,000/month [when you include all the people on the expensive tier].

Even if you assume they pay editors $100,000/year [which is high], they apparently had 3 editors but lets bump that up to 6 [$600,000/year]. Then lets say they contract a payroll company, $50,000/year [which is too much] and an accountant $50,000/year.

We now have total expenses being $700,000/year [unrealistically high]. That means they make $560,000/year [or $280,000/year each].
If you assume the realistic but still high numbers, 3 editors at [$75,000], $20,000/year payroll fees, $20,000/year accountant fee, $35,000/year in equipment/activities fees. That means they net $600,000 each [$1.2 mill combined]

I'm sorry, but based on their popularity and the fact they didn't notice $100k+ missing, I think it's safe to say that it's very close to I'm going to retire at 30. They should both be millionaires by now if they were prudent.

So your entire analysis hinges on Henry being a responsible adult. Yeah, they're fucked
No the analysis was of the fact that they SHOULD be rolling in it. As the poster had stated that with all the fees and payments etc they weren't really making enough to retire based on expenses etc. If they were any what reasonable with their money they should have enough money to do it, I didn't say they were reasonable with their money.

Again, this year alone together they should be clearing $1.2 mill from Patreon alone after business expenses. At that salary they could easily retire in a few years if they wanted to.

You're right, my comment misrepresented the point you were making, sorry for that. I just saw an opportunity to make fun of Henry and took it.

Taking into account sponsorships, youtube ads and Jeannie's twitch they certainly made enough profit over the years to coast to retirement, so I fundamentally agree with you on that.

If you want to refine the analysis, you might want to take into account the content aggregators working for them. I remember Jeannie mentioning that Henry was interviewing people who would search social media for content to react to. That was probably in late 2020 and soon after he started mentioning 'these memes are from ???' in his videos. I don't actually remember the names, but I'm pretty sure there were at least three different aggregators mentioned over the years since. If I had to guess I would say they had two part-time positions for aggregators.

Also, they almost certainly had to make a licensing deal with Jukin Media after their legal fight in 2020, at least I can't see how they would have resolved that whole thing otherwise. Considering Jukin wants $250 for a single, clearly identified clip, their license is probably custom and somewhere in the neighborhod of $10k per year.

Finally, your analysis extrapolates from current numbers (30k+ subscribers) to a yearly income, but 12 months ago they were around 20k, meaning your calculated revenue might be off by as much as 33%.

That's why I think it's kinda likely the deleted their demonitized YouTube account on purpose to get last of their long term fans to patron. I know people have had issues with YouTube before but I don't think the company or it's employees care enough to strike them for the reasons Henry says and to block legitimate legal and business requests for strikes. Also think because of the whole retired at 30 thing they probably don't wanna be public figures as much as they are anymore and just live a quiet life - probably partially why they're in Seattle not somewhere like NY or California. Hopefully I'm wrong though and they are motivated purely by dollar - meaning they'd want more platforms... hopefully one of them being an explicit OF - Jeannie (+Kai?- the thruple conspiracy is hilarious and should be revived) only though.... Don't think Henry has it in him like THAT

Are you good bro? you acting like henry set up a movie set. All he did was turn a computer on, press record on the camera and go on reedit. anyone can do that. And What are you really expecting from a jeannie stream? like be for real. of course they are tame. it aint like she gonna pull up on stream in a bikini and hop in a hot tub.

It's all good, I always disliked Henry as it felt like he was the one always trying to control the narrative.

Yea, I was considering the idea of going back a few years to when their patreon was smaller. Although I think the offset of by my overestimating the general expenses would be reasonable and the fact that I was excluding ad/sponsorship revenue. Specifically I think they likely have a whole lot more tier 2 people which would add a whole lot more.

Even with lots of their videos eventually getting demonetized, I still would estimate they were making $10k/month on ad rev (Or like $100k yearly in the 2019 - 2023 era). Like Adam and Eve I wouldn't be surprised putting like $20k-$50k into their channel at least yearly.

Like 2020, Jeanie alone from twitch sub drew in over $10k/month [Dec, which was the "slowest month" by the looks of it, she had $1087 in revenue from Tier 3, $610 Tier 2, and $11,787 Tier 1. So over $13k with just her Twitch...but Nov she earned $27k...and this is after Twitch's cut]

While I do agree they might have content aggregators, I don't think they are paying much more than $600k a year in salaries to everyone in total which is why I think my numbers still hold up as well. Even if you include the licensing fees etc, and when they had less patreon the numbers still would work out to numbers where they could pretty much retire if they weren't frivolous with money.

Anyone know what this is about? Just Jeannie’s channels or something else?
Yeah it's just talking about jeannies channels being gone, apparently that fan youtube channel that's reuploading mxr plays vids is also monetizing off the vids from what henry's saying and they can't even watch youtube with a profile anymore. Basically all the stuff we already know plus jeannie lost like 4 pounds due to stress from all that happening
