I think there was already much less content around way before NNN, i'm not even sure if it is necessarily slowing down or if it's just that more girls go into hardcore porn and not so much into the kind of teasing asmr style that Aftyn and Maimy were known for.

if you go into hardcore ASMR porn and explicit ASMR joi there's plenty of content still, think what vanished was that middle ground where it was sexual, it was nsfw but it wasn't full blown porn either.

I think it's just the result of the fad dying out; unless you're an established ASMRtist who has built up a fanbase it seems like getting into content creation doing this stuff is becoming less and less appealing for people.

I will say though that a lot of vtubers have been stepping in to fill the void that we're seeing in erotic ASMR recently...unfortunately they don't do anything for me as the whole anime avatar thing isn't really my cup of tea.
