Ratings for everything were much higher back then. It's a completely different landscape now. Can't really compare ratings 1:1 to then

If you’re looking at just ratings you’re doing it wrong. Back in the 90s and 2000s there was no internet. Nowadays in addition to traditional TV ratings there are ways to stream shows and many watch things on YouTube with videos getting millions of views.

Meanwhile the company is worth more than ever. They sell out mega football stadiums for the big PLEs and ticket prices are through the roof.

They are also more mainstream than ever. Wrestlers appear in movies, on national talk shows and espn sports center will even give some of their events coverage by reporting results.

Simply put, normal TV ratings are only a fraction of what should be used today to measure the popularity.

There’s a reason that nbc universal, fox, espn/disney and Netflix got into a bidding war for RAW…

Nick is on the board, HHH is not. Nick is a child hood friend of the Rock's...who's also on the board. Nick likely owns more stock than HHH. Regardless, there's not talk about the two not agreeing or having issues with each other...it seems more likely they worked together to have certain things happen to oust mcmahon, if anything at all.

Even if HHH wanted Mandy back (and there's no reason to believe he would as she brings nothing to the table that Tiffany Stratton doesn't 10 times over), he's not going to waste political power getting her over something he'd want more, like Johnny Gargano getting the title or something.

HBK was (mostly) booking Mandy's run in NXT...and he's producing sexy athletic blondes by the bucketfull these days who are 10 years younger, far more talented, and far less problematic than her and her never-amounted-to-even-a-jobber husband.

From what was a said a few months back It sounds like there is actually a possibility Mandy could return to WWE but she would most likely have to give up everything for that to take place and promise WWE she wouldn't post any more sexual content.

A new report via Jake Skudder of Fight Fans, sheds some light on one former WWE Superstar’s current status with WWE, as he has provided an update on where the company stands on a potential Mandy Rose return. The report stated that as of today, there has been no movement or discussion about a potential return for Mandy Rose. However, it was added that WWE would “certainly come to the table to talk about,” and that “they are not against it if it suits both parties.”

In addition, it was said that both Triple H and Shawn Michaels “still think very highly of her [Rose].”

I don't see her returning to WWE though and think it is more likely she will end up in TNA if she wants to wrestle regularly again. Dana Brooke/ Ash By Elegance has said there is interest in the company in bringing Mandy Rose in and a lot of the girls would like to work with her. TNA could use some additional female wrestlers in their Knockouts Division a lot more than NXT 👍

*edit Also I think Rock was allowed to be uncensored because of who he is, he did say he didn't want the fans to be censored either. But still probably won't allow Fantime/ Onlyfans on netflix

unlikely. I mean anything is possible, but actually running WWE is a full time job, and I doubt he wants to leave his billion other projects to do it.
He could do a powerplay, but it's wreck the company...90% of the roster are people who've HHH has sheppard the careers of. Plus, The company is doing better than ever before, and that's not gonna make the buisness people want to change things just because they were childhood friends with Duane.

Yeah. TNA or AEW...she's gonna want a lot of money to return and they're the only two who could hit it (TNA is unlikely to be honest likely can't caugh up enough money).

HHH/HBK have no reason to just say "she's unwelcome". They never shut the door if there's no reason to.
Frankly, I think Mandy talking about returning to the ring is just to get her name in the wrestling news to remind her fans she exists to resub to her OF.
