In my understanding "news that my turn my life upside down" would mean getting the visa or not. She said she doesn't want to say which country she's moving to (though it's probably US) because she's not sure if she'll get it. So it probably wasn't about the visa in this case, but I could be wrong. Also, she mentioned she made up her mind about six months ago, if I remember right, which is another reason why this post likely wasn't about the visa

I got there just in time and from what i understood is that she wants to go there to have more "opportunities" to collaborate, to get sponsors and other things. Then she said that she won't do it with an immigrant visa, so the move would only be temporary (a few years only maybe) which makes it harder. And she started the process 6 months ago, so maybe she posted that on OF after sending a lot of documents and was waiting for a response. She's very pessimistic about it so who knows
