I think it depends on whether she has control over it or not.

If they came from “playing rough” or not taking due care of her external image, which is a product both her and the company are selling and thus needs to be taken care of for business purposes, I can understand the production company's point of view. However, if they come from a chronic health condition that she has little to no control over, then the company comes across as a bit insensitive.

I started this whole thread specifically to ask about it. And I've seen a lot of speculation since, but no definitive answer as to exactly what it is and whether it can be helped or not, so I wouldn't be quick to cast judgement.
