From my understanding and past experience setting up my own seedboxes from abusing free cloud service trials,

This would be more efficient since you can fetch files from the VPS thru FTP and it would be faster since you can set up a VPS to be based in a region close to you and intrinsically FTP is more efficient than HTTP downloads, and you can also enjoy the swift Cloud network speeds of that VPS to download files from sources as mentioned (e.g. mega, bunkr, etc.)

Is this assumption somewhat correct?
