If they do do that, it won't end with more big names working with him, other big names will just see it and hand-wave him as " problematic " and never shoot with him. A torch-throwing scenario is probably the worst thing that could happen, despite his shitty business policies.
Best case scenario, he sees this, starts releasing old scenes and current scenes when they're still new, and girls start making him sign to release their scene in 6 months or less.
Worst case scenario, he gets " cancelled " for holding out scenes and basically blacklisted by the all the shawties we want to see him work with + the ones he doesn't pump out a scene of every few weeks.
He needs to get on it.
Heck, I'm scared if he really did film a Chloe Cherry scene that she'll sue him for defamation or something when he shadow drops a video of her eating ass and getting spit on when Euphoria Season 4's trailer drops. He needs to stop playing the long game before it gets him in trouble, like we're seeing some of now.

And like I said, he's doing it to himself. He has enough soft scenes that he shouldn't ne concerned with "duds". Just edit and release the scene, or hire an editor.
