On another more positive note, the other day I saw a vid on youtube, some truth or drink segment with male porn stars and their significant others and saw the nathan Bronson and his gf kato punk (she's on here too) and it was one of the most wholesome things I saw. Like not only did it make me feel something in my pants (kato is tatted alt type) I think I felt something in my chest.

I'd like to think it wasn't indegestion.

. she makes it sound like it was a mistake in his past. but then she also says it made her not surprised when he turned out to be a shitty person and threatened her with the beatdown of her life. she doesn't provide any proof but it's a pretty disturbing allegation.

not surprised hoby buchanon is on there. his scenes are gratuitously rough imo. but they do look consensual.

I feel you on that throeawe, like with the whole Yahshua thing, first it was an allegation, then she claimed he was committed.... and it sounds all like hearsay. And the cynic in me knows that abuse does happen, BUT also "buyers remorse" is a thing and flat out individuals lie. The "believe all women" is just as harmful a trope as to sit around and do nothing. I'd much rather "investigate all allegations" then take someone's word for face value.

Porn shoots will have to have trained medical staff, clinical psychologist, and an entire legal team on the sidelines going forward.

Leah did say she'll call out anything that's proven to be false, so there's that.

That said, if we're gonna cry witch hunt because of performers in the industry demanding accountability when it should have been painfully obvious six years ago that there's been absolutely none and the industry should have gotten it's shit together forever ago, I'm out. I'm far past tolerating that now.

Doesn't mean it's still not inappropriate to compile a document attaching names to a whole host of serious allegations and posting it publicly online without giving the accused a platform to defend themselves. People could lose work and their reputations over that and it would be hard to simply undo that if they're later proven innocent. Look at guys like Rico Strong and Manuel Ferrara; were it not for full, unedited footage being immediately available to vindicate them, their careers would have probably been over.

James Deen has been basically out of studio work since 2015; no companies are working with Markus Dupree anymore; Ryan Madison had to go to Europe to find girls who were willing to work with him; John Stagliano is barely directing anymore scenes; Ron Jeremy was arrested and charged (though it was a long time coming in this case); I could go on and on. These are all big names who've faced consequences over the last couple of years

I'll give you that, fair enough. But they aren't the only abusers and predators in the industry, clearly.

It's reassuring, at least a tad, that at least some of them got dealt some consequences, even if it took fucking forever. Ron Jeremy was long overdue. There's still people willing to work with Deen. Hell, you can still find posts on this forum of people celebrating women being blacklisted for speaking out about Deen. And unless something's changed, Stagliano probably still has some power in the industry, even if he's barely directing these days and I haven't seen any apologies about how Sheena Shaw was treated for speaking out.

And that's just off the top of my head.

its very interesting when you look at how some countries respect sex work and how we dont. There are some that view it as a societal good, organizations who treat it almost as humanitarian aid. Still others regulate it and protect sex workers from spreading disease or from acts of violence and have established safe havens or legalized protection measures.

Here... we cant even agree on the definition of consent.

And for what? Because power is more important than basic human decency? Because some folks believe a mythological man from a mythological book supposedly did all of these miracles..... and DIDNT FUCK?

GTFOH with that shit.

(*and i am sure abuses still happen in these more progressive countries as well, but we could learn a lot from them)

Can we go back to making fun of ahegao faces... (which i particularly dont mind, imho)

Women crying and sobbing in Japanese porn, it's a complete and utter turn off for me, I don't understand what kind of culture they have over there where a girl bawling her eyes out during sex is supposed to be arousing or titilating in any way !!! Or maybe it's not a culture thing but simply a weird obsession Japanese porn directors have ?? I don't know what the origins of this thing are to be honest.

It's unfortunate how prevalent this thing is in Japan, because I honestly find Japanese women to be some of the most beautiful women in the world, but this "crying sad women" act is too much of a buzzkill for me.
