One would think that achieving business success would be stronger than any fear she may have of high quality copies. A fear of high quality copies is actually irrational. Any famous person who creates a Brand Army or OF needs to be aware that leaks will happen, it is inevitable.
I would actually say it's a pretty dumb idea on her part. She is running a business and she should have more drive to put out a quality product to ensure customer satisfaction and grow her business.
