The dude who donated to kara already donated like $20k+ to Emerome and a few thousand to Speedy and extended group in like less than a month.
And Kara joked maybe she should wear more makeup to get an oil prince to donate. Emerome goes heavy on the makeup and her shirts emphasize her cleavage and she gets a ton of subs/dono. So maybe it's half joke and half serious since she complained about her sub count being low yesterday.
Lmao I commented elsewhere that I figured Kara was gonna be jealous of all the money Em got. Who knows maybe she tries to cater to that kind of audience again with these OF streams and maybe more irl streams on twitch showing off. With all the hype these streamers got during covid dying down she might as well go back to her old ways.
I hope she does more IRL stuff. Pre-2020 she would actually do pool streams when she went to cons and streamed at least two of her shoots. And recently said her pool is fixed and it's getting warmer in her area. On her last subathon she was talking about hot tub streamers and said theres a possibility she becomes one if she's not able to pay her bills through gaming.
I won't hold my breath because she always complains about being tired but her talking about her low sub count should be a wakeup call to change up her format.
Money is a good motivator. She and Tay lucked out moving in with millionaires otherwise they would've been doing those types of streams by now, Karas not paying rent either is she? Idk why she doesn't just go all in on OF since it pays way better for much less work, I'm sure her viewers wouldn't mind her streaming less if it meant more OF posts which I'm sure a lot of them are subbed for as well.
She's paying her part of the mortgage. That's like rent but without all the benefits of calling the landlord when things break. Stuff's been breaking a lot. Cap has been very vocal of his dislike and they might sell and rent instead. Kara's dad seems very old fashioned when it comes to home ownership and he instilled that on her. She was very excited at finally owning a home but it's not living up to the dream.
I honestly don't get the whole donation shtick. I mean I get it, you pay to unlock nudes, monthly sub bit, (OF/Fansly/etc.) but giving streamers that much money for really nothing in return (twitch/youtube/etc.), other than them saying your name and thank you, I don't get it.

I stopped subbing to small streamers when sub gifting became a thing, and I only subbed to girls OF when I know they're consistent with the content. These days it feels less like these streamers are trying to earn real subs and instead trying to find whales to gift a bunch.

For these large donations they make donating their personality and its basically to get attention and trying to get special access to the streamer. Some streamers, like Emerome, will give them perks like making them mods or vip's to validate their current and future spending. On Kara's channel it doesn't look like her mods bought their badges, or at least paid for them through twitch, and her vip's are streamer friends. She just thanks people occasionally and moves on.
If Kara ever does do any pool/irl streams I hope people donate something just to show her thats what people want to see. Streams now are so boring with her just slouched in her chair or distracted looking at her other monitors.
