Best solution is to use torrents, most of the time they provide the best quality. The quality on tube sites is not always optimal, at least not for VR headsets.

To be clear, I haven't tested the links below, so not sure if they are being seeded enough.

But generally, using some Google magic will find several sites.

I've made a first version of the program and can currently use it but it definitely has some bugs.
But these bugs will be fixed in the new version.
I currently have indexed about 2,9k videos and more are coming.
Currently, I only use porntrex as a source but I'm looking for a way to also add eporner since their video quality is higher.

True you are correct for the best quality you should download the files.
I made my application for the reason that I don't have a lot of storage available to me to host them since VR files can be quite large. I'm willing to sacrifice optimal quality for convenience.

Yeah, that's true. Most of the time the best middle ground for quality & size is 3-5 GB / VR video (and that's 1440p - 2160p resolution) . That's quite decent with most(?) VR headsets.

8+ GB per VR video is just insane.

If someone doesn’t have the local storage capacities for these huge files (which in my opinion with VR, you should always use the highest quality available to really use this technology‘s full current potential), then I would recommend to just stream the (downloadable) trailers from the websites themselfes:

I noticed that POVR.com offers much longer trailers than SexLikeReal.com (who unlike POVR don’t offer trailer downloads for free users). Many trailers on POVR are 3 minute long clips over 1GB big in file size:

For those that use deovr what settings do you have the display set to? 180 lat/long seems to make the scaling feel off? The models look like giantesses.

I tend to use 180 lat/long, it can help to zoom out somewhat to get the proportions to feel better, most the videos you will come across will be 180 so its typically the right setting, you wont find the proportions get much better using the alternatives 220, 360 or fisheye without the right files

I made the mistake of buying a 2nd hand Lenovo Mirage. It only plays specific codecs, something about Eporner compression messes it up.
Downloading and playing in Skybox doesnt work either.
Eporner degrades the quality regardless.

Some guy uploaded a 6k version to rarbg, but its 100GB so it's crazy to download AND convert it to 4k afterwards.
