No, it is impossible. If it was possible it would be a huge scandal. It is not possible on any popular social media website. Many have tried, all are scammed.
You could make an account that looks legit and request a follow, that's what some people do. But since they manually approve the follows it's unlikely to work.

Does normal rip not work? I have some success using an extension to rip the video. Probably not full res though.

i personally use youtube-dl and the ublock logger function for this, click on the twitter post so its in its own tab, before playing the video type in the ublock logger filter "tag=" (without the parenthesis), then play the video, in the ublock logger u should see a link along the lines of
click on the log so that it opens up the details of the link, copy it up until the .m3u8
(https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/*longnumberstring*/pu/pl/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.m3u8)
then in the youtube-dl cmd window just
youtube-dl https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/*longnumberstring*/pu/pl/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.m3u8
theres prob an easier way to grab them due to the fact they are just m3u8 streams, this is just the way i do it

okay so I've been able to get the m3u8
when it comes to yt-dl, the windows version just immediately closes whenever I open it and I'm too much of a dumbass with the python shit. any tips for an idiot like me? lol
umm try in your windows explorer, navigate to the folder with the yt-dl files in it, in the file-path bar at the top just type cmd then enter, if u have any further issues dm me
