Her family has always disapproved of her doing OF/fansly. Over the past couple of months her family have told her she should stop. A few months ago on stream she said she was bummed out because the day before her brother randomly called her up telling her how he isn’t okay with it. Basically telling her how immoral it is & she needs to stop. She said she worried about him telling her their parents & it’ll make them even more mad. A few weeks after that her parents visited her house for a weekend & her mom broke down crying to her about it. She’s never said what her dad had said about it only her mom. That’s all I know about that situation

This is a really weird grey moral area because the actions of family members tend to reflect poorly on others in the same family. I can empathize with both groups.

Lisa's an adult making adult decisions and she's earning something resembling a living even if it's icky/dirty money as a sex worker. If she can live with herself and sleep at night based on the decisions she's making, she should be left alone there.

But no sensible parent should be encouraging their sons or daughters towards sex work of any kind. Sex work - whether you're a stripper, prostitute, cam girl, etc. - is considered low culture and a fallback career if you're not cut out for white-collar work or college. Good parents try teaching their sons and daughters about responsible sexual decisions (limit your number of sexual partners/avoid promiscuity, use proper contraceptives/practice safe sex unless you're trying for a family, don't put your naked self or your sexual escapades out on the Internet unless you want it to follow you around for life and hinder your life choices for decades - and so on and so on) that amount to common sense - "use good judgment". If you're a parent that cares about your son or daughter, it's entirely fair for them to have a negative reaction towards having a "job" that involves ignoring those oft-spoken adages pertaining to using good judgment. Also, if the parents themselves are public figures and they have a son or daughter involved in sex work, that does impact the perception one has on those parents if someone were to enter into some sort of business with those parents or the day-to-day interactions strangers might have with them (and if those strangers made the connection that Lisa, their daughter is STPeach from Onlyfans/Fansly, NOT just Twitch).

The pragmatic mentality that I would adopt if I was in that family would amount to "I may not agree with her decisions but I do care about her and hope she's happy/I wish the best things in life for her" and pretty much leave it at that.
