This thread is for discussion of the "OnlyFans Chatters" Class Action lawsuit that has been filed in CA federal court. The defendants in this case are OF creators' agencies, and is related to the fraud of communicating with an agency rather than the creator themselves.

Please feel free to discuss the lawsuit, give your opinions, link to related articles, and post any legal documents related to the case.

Summary:
Hagens Berman has filed a class-action lawsuit on behalf of consumers against OnlyFans, the social media platform known almost exclusively for hosting sexually oriented content.

The lawsuit is filed on behalf of hundreds of millions of OnlyFans users, or Fans, who pay to communicate directly with preferred content creators on a personal, often intimate, level. The suit alleges that Fans are led to believe they are engaged in an authentic conversation, when they are actually communicating with professional chatters hired to impersonate the creator and convince users to spend more money.

In addition to the fraudulent chatters, attorneys accuse OnlyFans and third-party management agencies of a massive breach of confidentiality and privacy violations in which intimate communications, including photos and videos, are distributed to unauthorized parties.

OF has 3rd party AI chat bots integregated into the platform so you are basically paying to chat to ChatGPT.
I made a post on this but it was removed for "advertising" because i mentioned the chat bot company by name which wasnt my intention.

Hint : If your fav OF girl status is "Avaliable" like 20-24 hours a day (which isnt humanly possible) you are not talking to her directly....its either a bot or agency etc.

I do feel a bit disillusioned and at this point find it hard to believe that I would ever be talking to a real person; I hope this at least brings a positive change and is not just about money.
This is propaganda. You probably need to fix your bias.

So as an example. States like Texas passed strict laws meant to "reduce unwarranted lawsuits". A bunch of families of patients who'd died due to medical malpractice found their lawsuits had been thrown out under the new laws. It turns out the new law was written by the hospital's lawyers, not by patient advocates, and not by a neutral party.

Trust me I'm from a small town where people own judges. I get that there is a real issue. But corporations are currently leveraging that issue to control the larger narrative.

Example. The famous case of the McDonald's coffee lady. McDonald's spent billions so everyone thinks some lady spilled coffee on herself and sued for a zillion dollars. What an evil lady right. Truth is. She only sued for her own personal medical costs, and only to raise awareness. Court documents showed employees knew there was a problem, that cheap fixes existed, and that they were actively trying to silence the people who got burned, instead of taking reasonable steps to reduce injuries.

And people will still reply to this and go "coffee lady bad". Because propaganda is that effective. They're way more angry at some lady who nearly died from burns, than an international corporation who spent billions to cover up the truth.

I just figured I'm talking to random people in Taiwan who are making $10 per day.

That makes sense, I wholeheartedly accept that I am not always well informed and appreciate your reminder.

For curiosity’s sake, i decided to do some evidence grabbing, I created grabify links for some creators I 99% knew were using ghostwriters and some where I wasn’t sure.

Overall I did this to 15 accounts

11 came back as being in the Philippines
3 came back as being in Nigeria
1 came back as Thailand

Seeing that none of them are actually where they claim they are I would say that’s pretty conclusive evidence that almost all “large” creators aren’t being genuine

Nice work, how do you do it? i want to try this on some

Just go on YouTube and find a grabify tutorial, really not too difficult at all!
Most challenging part is getting the person on the other end to actually open the link, they’re obviously briefed by their managers not too but with a bit of creativity you can get them too

Were any of these Australian accounts?

"no it doesn't lol. Some creators/agencies might use third party browser extensions to do a lot of OF DM stuff but these are unofficial."

The point being it is seemless to the end user customer so is no difference as they can't tell if they are talking to a human or machine, but you knew that was the point... so OF allows it if not directly coding it.

That's not what you said. You said "AI chat bots integrated into the platform"

A third party browser extension is not "integrated into the platform" lmao

its literally a direct quote from the chat bot service itself haha, its a full 3rd party AI service not a "browser extention"

"Our chatbot seamlessly integrates with OnlyFans to enhance your fan engagement. It operates 24/7, engaging fans in personalized conversations, guiding them ...."

"haha"

It's irrelevant whether they're browser extensions or external software. Onlyfans does not have "AI chat bots integrated into the platform". Any external service, program, tool, utility, extension that is not coded/provided by Onlyfans is not "integrated". They are external tools/plugins.

yeah, thats what "3rd party" means. i literally said it was a 3rd party app from the very first comment. Stop thrying to create an argument where none exist ha.

my original comment : "OF has 3rd party AI chat bots integregated into the platform so you are basically paying to chat to ChatGPT."

the end user is being duped is the point and OF is allowing it to happen if not directly coding it....enough of the programming semantics as people are getting ripped off, and OF could easily block this...
