I'm actually really glad you came to respond and set the record straight. The rumor mill is often relentless and very few content creators want to directly engage with this community, beyond monitoring it. If it's true you don't use an agency, then that really sets you apart from the pack. I also applaud you for your integrity and ethics in what you do. That's also rare. This community is ultimately built upon the backs of porn enthusiasts, collectors, as well as fans (cynical or not) and lurkers who all desire a place to view, share, discuss and vent about creators and their content. So it's great you've chosen to make yourself known and heard.
Obviously, you may not get the sympathy you're looking for from this community when it comes to people posting explicit content in the forum. Some might even observe a disconnect when you openly share your nude body to the public through various social media to promote your page, with thousands of followers and millions of views. Twitter even incentivizes re-posting for further engagement. From the outside perspective, it can come across as less of an invasion of privacy and more about the potential loss of income. But I hear and understand where you're coming from with your personal boundaries and will try to improve my understanding further. If you feel betrayed by fans who decide to share your content, I am genuinely sorry and acknowledge that feeling too.
When it comes to sharing paid content, we can argue until we're blue in the face over the ethics of sharing media and art (and I know you would always win that argument anyway). In that sense, none of us are saints here. Some will share anything that isn't nailed to the ground. Others share content because not everyone can afford everything they'd like to see or they want to give back to the community that allowed them to see something profoundly good. And still some others share because there's a desire for having offline copies of content that they paid for (some of these fan sites run video like complete ass and we just want to be able to watch the damn video without buffering; or maybe we want to cast a non-DRM video to our 4k televisions instead of watching on our phones). Also, at any time, a creator can quit, alter their page, or a fan site can suspend a creator's account...and all that media goes *poof* with that fan's money effectively giving them nothing but a memory.
Beyond the preservation aspect, there is also the model accountability factor. There is no official review system or discussion forum for fan sites. While I understand I am writing to someone on the other side who has likely experienced headaches from fans and fan sites, from our perspective, we do not see fan sites holding creators accountable for false advertising or other nefarious activity. SimpCity isn't perfect but it's what we have. Being able to gauge a creator's content and get feedback from existing fans is important for a multitude of reasons that I'm sure you can understand. There are lots of scams and people have lost a lot of money for misleading content. Creators also often delete and re-use content to re-monetize so fans have to pay again just to regain access (Note: I'm not saying you do ANY of these things but only that there are so many others who do this). Whether you want to believe me or not, I have chosen to purchase content and support creators after being able to check things out on this site. I have even had members here DM me that they've chosen to sub to accounts because they liked what they saw. So if you're here to tell us your story and validate the merits of supporting your accounts, you're in another great spot to inform the community that you will treat any level-headed spender with fairness, transparency, and respect.
Having said all this, I realize that no matter what we might do or say here, we're going to seem like leeches to you. That's obviously your choice just as you mentioned our choice to believe whether you're a physician (I personally believe you; you've certainly proven yourself sharply intelligent, driven and tenacious enough). Regardless, I have no desire to purchase or share anything further to exacerbate your stress. So you needn't waste anymore of your valuable bandwidth on this silly simp who is one insignificant prick in the grand scheme of your life. I genuinely hope you enjoy your stable career, satisfied mind and fulfilled life while we enviously jerk off with our tears in this dark corner of the internet (self-deprecating sarcasm intended on the latter).
Lastly, if you just want to function as the Eye of Sauron here, that's your right, and I think everyone would get that. But...if you're going to be here, I invite you to continue engaging with your fans, show how you're different and worth every purchase, and not let the conversation die with your previous mic drop (epic and fabulous, by the way). Peace.
