The fact that her boyfriend of many years has possibly dumped her over the decision makes me think she may genuinely be planning on going through with it though. This is sad to see honestly. If she wants to go for a ''androgynous'' vibe or a ''femboy'' vibe you can tell that she is not really serious about transitioning and only uses her gender dysphoria as a coping mechanism for her mental problems do dissociate from them.
Because she probably is seeing a lot of people that are happy after the transition and thinks that this might fix her mental problems too.
But the negatives are never really that highlighted in those closed trans communities.
