Question gfycat issues, stalled uploads

Has anyone had any problems with gfycat lately?

The last 2 days, I've been unable to upload any videos. They always get stuck at 90% encoding.

I've tried different videos (rather than the same few over and over).
I've tried 3 browsers (Chrome, old Firefox [4 year old never updated], Pale Moon) and they all do the same - Windows 8.1
I've tried 2 different mobile browsers (Opera, Chrome) on 2 different phones (Android 10, Android 12).
I've spoofed my MAC 3 times, generated 3 different IPs (Comcast relies on router MAC for modem IP) to make sure I wasn't shadowbanned or something else, and again using all the different browsers.

All permutations and situations yield to this Encoding stuck at 90%, always.

Am I alone here or am I taking crazy pills?

Hasn't worked for me either.
According to their subreddit, many users are having the same issue. No word from the Gfycat devs either.

I would suggest hosting files using the in-house Saint or other platforms such as Redgifs

Thanks. I guess it's redgifs, since hevc tiktok videos aren't playing on saint (for my software at least); redgif for previews, bunkr for downloads.

I've noticed recently that a lot of the videos that I upload to the site either gets stuck on encoding or prompts me to restart the upload.
I know that encoding issues have been a problem for a while, but it seems to be at its worst for these pasts few weeks.

Yeah 3 days not working, its a fucking shame, I have like 2000 gifs there, almost 20M viewers and now i cant upload my new stuff there

Its a shame gfycat is kill, bc Im finding old browsers don't work well with HEVC videos + saint OR bunkr

I download HEVC tiktok videos and they seems to not play nice with what I mentioned above; only when they're H264 do they work (at least for me, but I'm on old version of Chrome bc I'm Windows 8.1 and Google stopped providing updates

The HEVC I know work bc they render with my MPC-HC/MPC-BE

Just a heads up, Gfycat is shutting down on Aug 31. They're deleting all data on Sept 1.

There are like 3 decent images host that allow gifs 65mb+ you move everything to one of these host even though they are not allowed here

You'd be better off using saint and/or bunkr
They both ignore DMCA
Saint has a web player embedded on the forum
Neither compresses or otherwise alters the source video

Yeah is the best option but not for discord public servers
