i started painting again over the weekend! 🥰 i don't think i've ever talked about it but it's something that i absolutely love, but haven't had the motivation to do over the last couple years. going off of my medication for adhd and bipolar disorder has been a really eye opening (and extremely difficult lol) experience, i now see that my joy for things i previously loved had straight up disappeared over time. apparently this is a thing called anhedonia, which is associated with both medications i used to be on. withdrawal from stimulants has been hell, even as someone who took it exactly as prescribed, but i feel like i'm finally seeing the other side because of things like this. it feels amazing to feel passionate again. 🥲
just a little positive update for you after that mental health video i made a while back. idk if it's too soon to do another but i have a million things i could say about this whole medication free journey, it's been quite the year so far lol. i hope you've been taking care of yourself, sending you all the positive vibes ❤️
