troy definitely came off as a guy who would try to manipulate folks

Lena was always SOMEWHAT SUS, everytime she brought up feminism or a topic related to it it always FELT FORCED as if she was paid to talk about that topic but never really cared about it

but i just wrote it off because she is a middle age white women acting like she 22 or some

what i kinda am interested in is if LENA actually BROKE up with her ex ex boyfriend before troy because of the reason she mentioned on reddit where she said (they just lived each other apart because of work) or if she just straight up cheated

kinda would tell a lot more about her character to be fair

Some of these girls (and guys for that matter), when they come into the biz are upfront about what they are and are as genuine as anyone can be, so what we see is pretty much what we get, within reason. Some of them however...are roleplaying whether they're doing a scene, making an appearance or doing an interview, so they never show us who they really are. And I think most people understand that and are fine with it. However, if they're some kind of closet abuser or into some things that wade deep into sexual deviant territory, then that's anything but fine because it can potentially put the other talent in danger or even put the industry overall in danger depending on what they're doing. And those are the ones where everyone goes: "Who are you again?! I didn't sign up for this," when what they're really about leaks out.

no. im saying if u knew why she entered the biz it's even more understandable that her enabling of troy sounded VERY out of character for her.

She started camming and then doing porn because she was trying to fund her south american non profit to fight climate change. she was channeling the money she made to pay carbon farmers. she was actually motivated to do good. she said in that podcast where she announced she's now remarried and basically retired from porn she's been attending conferences and talking to people about continuing the carbon farming work. so she's been at least consistent about what she believes in and what she is trying to achieve. that's why i said if u knew this. understood this you'll find the accusations that she covered for troy even more out of character for her.

I know about that non profit but by her own admission she was sleeping with all of her clients which I always thought was questionable behavior. Like I said, some girls are up front with who and what they are and some girls aren't. I think her behavior is somewhat out of character based on the image she was trying to present - warning others about working with certain people and whatnot and honestly I was taken aback by the allegations - briefly but I was following this story when it first broke and frankly didn't believe she was just some feminist envrionmentalist with a history degree who was unknowingly caught up with an abuser. At This Point there's probably no way to prove what she did or didn't know for certain but the people making the allegations certainly believed she was in on it.

re the allegations yes i have no doubt the accusers believed it wasn't possible that she wasn't in on it. that's actually what makes it all the more surprising...but funny right? it's always the ones who say they are feminists the loudest that turn out to be abusers. >.> Deen.
