open the index.m3u8 with an text editor and delete the segments/lines you don't need/want
example line:

the segments/lines are ~1-2 Seconds each

wanting to not record the first 5-10 Seconds for example would mean you would have to delete the first 5 (five) lines starting with "#EXTINF" and ending with "&request_id=" and so on...

correction: one segment/line is pretty much equal to one second

i.e.: deleting from line 7 on starting with "#EXTINF" and ending with "&request_id=" exactly 600 segments/lines 008-608 would skip the first 10 minutes of the stream you want to download.

yt-dlp cant use own custom m3u8 file or at least I dont know how.

Tried your script but getting Headers error, even tried to use my own browser headers same error..

that thing in the spoiler was just a generic example, I removed the links so I don't have to wait for a mod to approve my post.

U should be able to use the recurbate.py together with the index(10m_609-lines).m3u8 after you renamed it to index.m3u8 from my gofile link or your own edited index.m3u8

The m3u8 file is no issue for me. I know how to use it. The issue is the headers with python script.

Anyway I bypassed all of it with temporal online file upload. Stored my modified m3u8 file on tmpfiles site and used Ytp-dlp to that url and it works. Yt-dlp doesnt take local .m3u8 files so storing it on a webbsite bypasses it.

yeah, I tried the python script too but that header stuff is a bit annoying.

Yt-dlp is youtube-dl fork. Personally it works the best now just upload your custom m3u8 somewhere and run the command. Only needs to update the header when browser version changes.

Thanks for suggesting the m3u8 file edit, using inspect network tab you can easily find segments to delete.

If that IP was registered already with 3 day trial then you cant.

And email has to be verified before you can do it.


Or you can create multiple accounts, use VPN and download 1 video per account without 3 day trial.

Same here, but only started today. It's IP related, with VPN active it's back to 1/2mbs
Does anyone know how to download multiples files with this method? The only way I could find was using another old laptop (same account), but i don't have VPN for all machines
