Well, I watched the vid. I just don't know how to get to that beginning stage.
you have to give the file executable rights first
in the terminal you have to write:
chmod +x
then drag and drop the desired file arm/amd into terminal
i.e. looks like this: chmod +x ./path-to-file/recu-macos-amd64
enter
your file is now executable

No re-encoding because it's in .mp4 and same quality, it takes the video from the site. If you want to change the resolution you need to add the command -vf "scale=-2:720" (for example, for 720p).
Also, I forgot to specify it but you can remove the "-re" command, it will increase the download speed by x2. So if you have a good connection and you want 5 minutes, it would take 2 minutes to download . I added "-re" to have "perfect" optimization (it acted like a screen record) but in fact it is not necessary.
I haven't done this for awhile but came back to get some stuff. Has the original process changed? I did the same things I used to do, but when it went through the links I only ended up with a bunch of M3U audio files.

I still had that config file / recu-1.5-windows-amd64 from a month or 2 ago when I used to do your method.
So I did the thing I normally did, edited the config file with the appropriate information
1. Added the URLS I wanted
2. Added the Cookie
3. Added the User Agent
Before when I did this and ran the recu-1.5 file it'd go through and download each video.
Now when I try it just gives me a M3U Audio Playlist (UTF-8) file of each link I put, but no video
they updated their website a while ago that broke my program, just get the newest version, hopefully it works
Does this work for hidden videos?
